Dr. Raza was raised on a sugarcane, maize, cotton and wheat farm. It also had lots of animals like cows, buffalo, sheep, goats, pigeons, dogs and cats. This is where he found an interest in taking care of animals. He graduated from University of Agriculture of West Asia in 1996 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion he worked for the Government of Pakistan in the Livestock Department for eight years as a Veterinarian who tended to large and small animals. In 2005 he decided to move to Canada. He worked at both Princess Margaret Hospital and York University located in Toronto from 2008-2014 as an Assistant Research Veterinarian. In 2016 he received his Veterinarian licence from the College Of Veterinarians of Ontario. Since then he has practiced in many animal hospitals in Toronto and London Ontario. September 1, 2019 he purchased Paramount Animal Hospital and is looking forward to building relationships with clients and their pets in the neighborhood. He currently resides in London, Ontario with his wife and 3 children. The whole family is looking forward to moving to Stoney Creek this Spring.
Ever since Melanie was a little girl she knew that she wanted to work with animals. She grew up with a house full of dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and fish. After completing the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College she worked at a clinic in Toronto for 6 years. It was there that she realized she not only loved working with animals but also enjoyed getting to know their owners. From there she has worked in Mississauga, Burlington and now Stoney Creek. She took 3 years off to have a family and is now excited to be back to work doing what she loves. When she is not at her desk chatting with clients and making sure the hospital is running smoothly she is busy at home with her three babies, her husband, her two labs and 2 cats.
Alexis grew up in a quiet area of central Hamilton, Ontario with her family, her beagle, two cats and a cockatiel. After spending her summers working in a reptile zoo as a teenager, she decided to pursue her career in domestic animals. After moving to her families farm in Haldimand, she decided to pursue her studies at Sheridan College where she graduated in 2015. Over the course of five years Alexis has worked and developed skills in all areas of a veterinary hospital. However, her passion resides in anesthesia and nursing care. In her spare time Alexis can be found walking her Great Dane mix Oliver and Labrador Retriever cross George in areas near her families farm, at the gym, or checking out new restaurants.
